Mars – Uranus – North Node Conjunction: The Radical Liberation

The much-anticipated triple conjunction occurs on July 31 & Aug 1 as Mars, Uranus and the North Node unite in a rare cosmic alignment at 18 degrees of the fixed earth sign of Taurus. 

Uranus is the planet of unexpected, disruptive changes.

Its energy is rebellious and unpredictable.

The only thing guaranteed when Uranus is involved is that we can expect the unexpected.

It rules over social unrests, revolutions, earthquakes and other natural disasters, cutting-edge technology, breakdowns and breakthroughs.

Coupled up with the North Node of Destiny, this energy is magnified tenfold.

Mars, the God of war, is in its detriment position in Taurus.

It doesn’t feel comfortable in this fixed earth sign. Mars is all about impulsive action and stable, chill Taurus is just too slow for its liking. It can’t be rushed.

Same clash of energies applies to rebellious Uranus in Taurus.

Together, magnified by the presence of the North Node, these two planets are a massive energetic volcano that is about to erupt.

We are being asked to learn how to adapt to unpredictable, even shocking, changes at the shortest possible notice.

Mars meets Uranus on average every two years. The first Mars – Uranus conjunction in Taurus occurred at 6 degrees back in January 2021.

We are now witnessing the second meeting. The third alignment will occur in July 2024 at 26 degrees of Taurus, right on the notorious fixed star Algol. 

Uranus and the North Node meet up in the Sky every 15 years or so. 

The triple conjunction of Mars, Uranus and the North Node in the sign of Taurus is a very rare occasion.

 

It’s difficult to calculate the exact date of when it happened last time, but some astrologers claim it occurred during the reign of Alexander the Great (from 336 B.C. to 323 B.C.). 

Tectonic Changes transforming the World as We know it 

This explosive, highly unpredictable energy of the triple conjunction can literally manifest as a natural disaster of some sort (earth quake or volcano eruption).

Taurus is the fixed earth sign, representing our planet Earth. 

It also rules over food and agriculture.

This rare alignment in Taurus will likely have a disruptive impact on food supplies, food distribution chains, and agriculture.  As a result, it can trigger a global food crisis. 

Taurus also rules over financial market, currencies, banking, material possessions and personal finances.

We can certainly expect some major changes when it comes to financial systems and world economics at large.

This triple conjunction is also highlighting the possibility of social unrests, riots, and outbreaks of violence across the globe.

Even though Mars is at its detriment in Taurus, its ability to get aggressive and turn a minor disagreement into a bull fight should not be underestimated.

A powerful example is Mohammad Ali, one of the greatest boxers of all time. He had his Mars in Taurus. It certainly didn’t stop him from becoming one of the greatest fighters of his generation.

He used the core qualities of resilience and determination of Taurus and applied them successfully to the physical expression of Marcian energy.

 On a positive side, these explosive outbursts can lead to radical liberation and long sought after freedom, both on an individual and collective level.

Involvement of Mars can indicate development and production of new, cutting-edge weapons and missile defence systems.

However, the hope for the best is getting stronger than ever, since Uranus is now getting support from the North Node of Destiny and Mars ahead of yet another activation of the notorious Saturn – Uranus square in September.

Thankfully, Uranus is now more equipped than ever to win the battle between the old and the new.

No matter what is going to manifest as a result of this power-house triple conjunction, it’s vital to remember that the North Node of Destiny is activating FATED changes that we have brought into existence as a collective.

Whatever is to come is meant to be.

Who will be affected the most?

The representatives of the fixed cross of the Zodiac (Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio) will certainly feel the power of this conjunction the most.

Especially those with placements and chart angles in fixed signs anywhere between 13 – 23 degrees (I normally use a 5 degree orb).

Earth signs can expect positive changes, even if they may seem rather shocking and unexpected at first.

Water signs are likely to utilise sudden opportunities presented at this time, but it will require a certain amount of effort and stamina.

The Epic Journey of Mars

Mars is taking the cosmic centre stage this summer and beyond.

It will square off with Saturn in retrograde in Aquarius while still in Taurus, and will gloriously finish off its journey though this earth sign with a trine to mighty Pluto in Capricorn (also in retrograde).

Mars ingresses into Gemini on Aug 20. It will be a longer than usual stay as it will retrograde in this mutable air sign and will leave Gemini for good only on March 25, 2023.

The destined, life-changing meeting with Uranus and the North Node of Destiny in Taurus is going to activate the power of Mars by tenfold.

This major activation of Marcian energy is really significant.

We will be able to witness the consequences in full depth with time.

Remedies to smooth over Growing Tensions

Luckily the Goddess of love and abundance Venus is going to form a soothing sextile to this volatile combo.

It will be most active between 1st and 5th of August. It’s just lovely, as Venus is the ruler of Taurus.

Although this is a rather gentle energy, it will certainly help smooth things over and make it less dramatic.

The best remedy for challenging transits in the fixed earth sign of Taurus is to connect with nature.

The summer is still in full swing in the Northern Hampshire. It’s an excellent opportunity to enjoy longer, warmer days and spend as much time as possible outside. 

Being in nature helps to get grounded, especially during times of turbulence and unsettling changes.
